Visitor operations

Visitor operations is a service you may come across when at the police station, court or shelter home, where Victim Support Finland’s staff works on certain weekdays. The idea of RIKU’s visitor operations is to bring our service points’ personal services to the places, where victims of crime and witnesses are likely to be.

At the moment, we can be found at police stations once a week; at Vaasa, Lahti, Hämeenlinna, Porvoo, Vantaa and Helsinki Pasila police stations. On most weekdays, you will also find our on-call workers at Vaasa and Rovanimi district courts and courts of appeal, as well as at Kemi-Tornio district court. You might also meet our employees at Kokkola, Joensuu, Kuopio, Oulu and Tampere shelter homes. We aim to expand our Visitor operations according to resources.
