Am I entitled to an interpreter?

Everyone has the right to use their mother tongue when dealing with authorities. For example, in police interrogations and at trial, the person has the right to be questioned in his/her own mother tongue. It is the authority’s responsibility to acquire an interpreter, but it must be informed to the authority in good time.
